your only as good as your last game............................don't be lyn to yourself
after the u-18 fai final i think that celtic b will be very strong getting whatever players don't get into the a panel!! i heard ex ballyheane manager mick kelly got a reffereeing badge, can anyone tell me whether it's true?
yes its true, the knowledgeable and fit mad mick has picked himself up a refereeing licensce and is refereeing underage games at present

is this the A.I.B. cup thread??????????[
Its better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it
The Aib cup 1st round this weekend looks interesting, there are some good ties , no super league matches, but a good tie could be manulla vs castlebar town , town who reached the semi final last year and give celtic a good game that day,if getting to the same form as last year might give manulla a shock upset who are near top of the super league ,another match that interests me is the boro vs celtic c after the 14-0 defeat to the A team they might have their work cut out, celtic a will have a tough game against urlaur who only lost 1-0 to them in the cup last year after extra time and are a decent side
Thats what we were talkin about last nite at training alright, Boro will still have doubts and the C team have a bit of a "mentaility" at the moment and young lads who like to run at teams so maybe the white and green hoops might cause a shock, not likely, BUT it is the Cup

i never said anythin bad about mick, i know mick and he is a sound fella, football mad and at least he would play fair not like some of the refs in mayo that don't treat every player equal....

some pretty big shocks in the cup today!most notably the defeats of manulla and ballyheane.was surprised to see bangor hibs go down to erris's 2nd team also as well as ballyglass losing at home to moyvilla.thought kilmore and inver would have done better also but such is the beauty of the cup eh??wasnt at our own game against straide but heard that fahy were flattered somewhat by the 4-1 scoreline.maybe fahyforever of r. rover could clarify that for me?
as always against good opposition we raised r game bit surprised more didnt think an upset on the cards against celtic b we should a won in normal time and in extra time penos a lottery result of the round cross v mulranny thought they would win but but fair play they did roll on next round!

Bye-----Valley Rovers - Valley Rovers[/QUOTE]
Well done K/K - Could nearly see that coming with the way the 2nd half was panning out! Possession counts for nothing if u dont put it in the net!!
Defensive mistake for the goal cost us, poor keeping.
Best of luck in the next round.
