Gotta agree with you there, Joe. Mons top scorer was in fact Trevor Vaughan with about 7 goals...

He's called up John Lester, who's been 'banging' them in all season in the First Division with the Magic Mons, to the under21 squad for the trip to Scotland.

lets roast him tonight
Isnt John Lester a midfielder? Wasnt it another midfielder who dropped out of the sqaud, Miller of Celtic?
Of course John O'Flynn should have been in the squad in the first place, but here isnt it a question of calling up a midfielder to replace a midfielder?
Oh no not them again
Lester's a good player from what I saw of him, but O'Flynn should be in there no doubts.
Good idea. Would have been in favour of giving him abuse anyway, but defo nowOriginally posted by Pablo

In fairness theres only 16 outfield players which already include 3 forwards in Daly (Stockport County), Barrett (Brighton), & Hunt (Dunfermline) as well wingers in Hoolahan (Shelbourne) & Reid (Nottingham Forest) so unlikely to need another forward.
Its probably a separate debate whether Daly or Hunt should be ahead of O'Flynn but maybe the fact the season here has finished is against him?
and dempsey of dunfermline too!
Pull up your trousers and get away from that sheep!
According to spillane on the big red bench tonight, when Givens was being introduced to the players last night, on of them held onto his hand and said "You've some nerve coming down here after leaving John O'Flynn out". He wouldn't mention who did it. Did anyone see it last night?
The glass isn't half full or half empty it's just too damn big!
