6 is Steffi Graf i'd imagine. 1990 i think unless you mean grand-slam over any number of years.

As for 1889, get over yourself.
Stumped for the rest of them but i believe the Dream Team lost to some europeans.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

Americas Cup is the oldest Sporting trophy I think

The Bethlehem Steel, Ukranian Nationals, Central Breweries have all won the US Open Cup (American FA Cup equivalent)

Irishman John Sullivan was the first heavyweight champion of the world

Does Bob Beamons long jump record at alltitude from Mexico still stand?

Were the GAA finals played in the US?

My Dad always claimed he was from outside Athlone

I assume the long jump is not the record then?

World bowl winner must have been the early years as it's only Europeans now.

Orlando? Sacremento? Pretty sure they both played in the finals in the early 90's when the London Monarchs were a decent team.

i think the argies won it, i know its not america though cos they kept it quiet when they lost and tried to take away from it, great to see them not winning it.
jack broughton was the the first champion dodge, i think that one is controversial one anyhow, cos he was the first to set about "official" rules for boxing. the first 15 round proper was jack dempsey though( i wonder where his roots lie!!!! )

Pat Burke was the first nba player.

1889 gaa finals were played in inchicore i think between dublin and clare ( though it would have been clubs playing then ), i think this must have been at your local quiz dodge in your club pub.
