Glen Fitzpatrick has signed a one-year deal with Glenavon from
Shamrock Rovers. The news of the one-year contract will come
as a blow to Rovers who were hoping the former youth
international would leave on only a short-term deal.

However the striker, who has also played for UCD and Athlone
Town, decided to cut all links with Rovers and commit himself to
Glenavon.

I never rated the guy and I didn't think he was getting his game with Athlone when he was there.
