Old stuff often lasts longer than new stuff.

The point of new stuff is to be cool for a couple of years and then die, forcing you to buy it again.

I honestly think that there's a timer inside modern computers which senses when it's three years old and suddenly goes at half speed. I've an Amstrad CPC 6128 at home from 1986 which still goes at the same speed it always did (which isn't very fast, but that's not the point...)

This phone is at least twenty years old and when you have a brother who throws everything he can get his hands on around the place, it is some achievment.

It even has northern telecom written on it. I don't remember them being around in Ireland in my lifetime.

The only problem with the rotary dial phone is the blasted ten digit numbers everyone has now. Takes about three minutes to dial. Strictly for incoming calls only.

    From Wiki

Wispa took the UK market by storm after its launch, but the product was
discontinued some years later when Cadbury's cited production problems with
its innovative production technique (thought to be bars breaking on the
production line); the discontinuation was a national story and made it onto
    the BBC's 6 o'clock news.

Wispa came back to the market some years later with a slightly different
formulation, but presumably was more reliable to produce. The Wispa brand
was finally discontinued by Cadbury in 2003, when the product was renamed
Dairy Milk Bubbly to capitalise on the brand equity in Dairy Milk. However,
several websites have set up petitions to bring back the Wispa.

True. Very few places where you can get it anyway. Had some really lovely ale in Scotland and The Porterhouse's Chocolate Truffle Stout is nothing short of gorgeous!

Can you not get them? They're still in selection boxes anyway.

Heres one - A quarter of cola cubes, rhubarb and custard, apple drops etc. etc.
