they can do no wrong. Easily my favourite band of the last 4/5 years.
Any one here got it? What do you reckon?
Got it at the start of the week and think it class

they can do no wrong. Easily my favourite band of the last 4/5 years.
Have only had a couple of listens but all good so far.
Doesn't Track 2 sound remarkably like the Pixies?
"Must you tell me all your secrets when it's hard enough to love you knowing nothing."

After two listens, taking it all in and its great. Knocked Up is probably one of the best opening tracks in a long time, great track. On the single, "On Call", very Pearl Jam like, and Charmer, yes it does sound like the Pixies!
'Fascists dress in black and go round telling people what to do, where as priests.....'
I only got it yesterday, have listened to it 3 times now + love it. All three of their studio albums are class, can't wait to see them at Oxegen.
Also got Enter Shikari's "Take to the Skies" yesterday.......haven't really listened to it yet, seems a bit too heavy for my liking but I'm sure it'll grow on me over time.
possibly cos they supported them on their tour?![]()
cant wait to get my hands on the album from the reviews here. I saw them in Lansdowne in 05 (i think...) supporting the pixies (went to see KoL mainly) but the sound was AWFUL. for both bands. Wont be there but hope they do themselves justice in Oxegen.
Whats their best album? I feel a purchase coming on.
To start you off, I would recomend their 2nd album "Aha shake Heartbreak" one of those albums where every song is quality and you can listen to it from start to finish several times over.
In saying that their new one "Because of the times" is slowly catching up to it IMO.

Nice one thanks. Got both. Impressed.
"Knocked up" is brilliant so far! havent checked out past track 3 yet but the other two are mighty fine too
quality band, very under-rated
They'll be huge after this album - 3rd Classic in a row.
Quoting years at random since 1975
brilliant live as well. The new album is a grower, very different but on constant repeat!
"If God had meant football to be played in the air, he'd have put grass in the sky." Brian Clough.
You'll NEVER beat the Irish.......you'll just draw with us instead!!!
Top band alright. Saw them a couple of years ago supporting Travis (of all fu**in bands) at Alexandra Palace in London. When the Kings finished their set half the crowd fu**ed off home! Mark of quality IMO
"People say football is a matter of life and death, I believe it is much more important than that".
Had been playing with the idea of buyin this so thank you for confirming my suspicions that its a great album!
yeah listening to it alot, great!!
cant stop listening to Charmer (veyr much like Pixies covering "Beat it" with added screaming) and Fans (which I find strangely poignant ) at the moment
