It looks as if Alan Matthews is really building a squad here... If Kirby and Avery get two year deals we will have a significant number of core players on deals which for the time being will lead to a settled side... we've come along way since Stewie and Macca walked out...

Great news about John and Kirby..... But what of the defence - whats the story with Barry, Silke and Dillon? If we can get those three on similar deals we'll really be set-up......

So just one more midfielder to sign....

Also, it'll be interesting to see who's going in the squad trimming that must take place..... who's going?

Having secured Keogh, an attacking midfielder would be on my list.... Don't really know much about him, but I assume he fits the bill for us Villa rejects team
