In the end Shams were very lucky they didn't get hammered tonight. The win was a lot easier than a 2-1 scoreline
You lot aint much better. Plenty of play acting and time-wasting. Poor quality in your play, no real rhytm to it. Suppose it'll take time for your team to gel. Mansaram was reckless, it was an awful 2 footed lunge and Brennan is lucky he hasnt broke a leg, although in saying that he had to be carried from the field. We should have won tonight. Played excellent and Kelly hit the post. PJ made a great one-handed save to deny Fenn. Good performance from us, hopefully we can turn them into winsOriginally Posted by niallsparky

So was Killian Brennan against Shels in the League Cup Final last year but all you Derry fans thought it was a harsh red back then and claimed it was a conspiracy against Derry by Dublin refs.
Brennan never touched Heary(unlike last night) in that incident and was then punched in the balls by Heary who stayed on the field that night
Mansaram's tackle was disgrace, so much so that not one player or official on the Bohs bench got up to complain when he was red carded as they were close to it. Tells it's own story.
But Brennan recklessly dived in two footed. Two footed tackles are not part of the game, a player making a two footed tackle should be red carded.
I wasnt there last night, havent seen any footage yet, but if Mansaram dived in two footed then its a deserved red card.
Contact or no contact, the intent is there so its a red card.
Depends really on how you can say it was intent. Brennan went in for a tackle, but it was nowhere near as bad as the Mansaram one last night, it was a disgrace!!

Who said it was a great result. The draw against your lot wasn't because we should have beaten you and the draw against Derry wasn't because they are a poor side (yes I know tat also makes us poor).

What's the story with Bohs this season? Are they playing a boring defensive game or are can they just not score?
To say the least. We were hopeless last night, circus act defending and far too much hoofing.No, just poor UCD beaters
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
Never any consistency in our tactics. We keep the ball on the ground, win 3 in a row and then resort to hoofing against the mighty Longford.
The only difference between the two from what I have read is Mansaram amde contact. Players dont make two footed tackles by accident, and when they do make them, they deserve to see red.
