I'd say Devlin works well with youngsters, to be honest.
From eleven-a-side.com
"Devlin, a highly-rated coach, is rumoured to be one of the front-runners for the job as Irish underage supremo, vacated by Brian Kerr’s promotion to the senior job this week. "
Please tell me that this is a wind up ?

ONE CITY, ONE TEAM.
he let the likes of Doyle and Gough go for nothing ? Very bad move if the install him as Irish Youths Manager
>>>he let the likes of Doyle and Gough go for nothing ?
That may have more to do with business than football, which doesn't, or shouldn't come into a manager's job, especially an international one.

Yeah be careful...he might try and sell our underagers...or worse, let them go to england on a free transfer![]()
Doyler wanted to leave. Something about wanting first team footie, I think.
There are a lot worse options than Wee Pat for the Job. I don't understand why so many people hate Devlin anyway, sure he Coached Duff did'nt he?!?!
I'd rather die laughing than trying!
what exactly was his relationaship with duff - was he his agent or did i hear that he was an agent for Blackburn and thats why he went there?

As far as I know, he works as a scout for Blackburn as well as being Bray manager.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
have they an official relationship with Blackburn?

'They' as in Bray? I don't think so, it's just Devlin I think.

would that not p!ss them off a bit in that he could be gearing players up for a lift across the pond

I would have thought so but they didn't do much about it.

That's why I hate the untc anyway.... can't do his best for the league while at the same time be working at (and for) someone that is helping destroy, or at least inhibit progress, of it...Originally posted by Magoo

If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.

Couldn't agree more, the conflict of interest is just too big in my book.

Devlin was merely a Coach for a Youth Team Damian played for. It was shown in depth during the World Cup when Pat Devlin was over at Duff's parent's house to watch the first World Cup match.

Got one straight away..... There seemed to be loads around at that time (3am), but I suppose that was just before everywhere chucked out....Originally posted by Dodge
