If memory serves me correct, Shels played in Iceland a while back. With City playing there in a few weeks time, a few City fans will be travelling there. Would any of the Shels fans have any advice to offer on a trip over there?

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Bring money and lots of it!
From memory a beer was 8-10 Euro and eating out was generally double the price in Ireland.
Great country though, make some time to do a tour of the waterfalls and gysers.
Cheapest flights are via Stansted with Iceland Express.
Seems like a damn hard place to get to on the cheap.
