Father is a plastic, who was born over here. Mother is Russian. Grew up in San Diego(up to maine..) speaks Uk English, American English, Russian and Irish.

Ok I was lying about the Irish but the rest is true. There is also a subtle subtext in there too for anyone else who read what he listens to to get him going.

That Williams chose the location for his own comfort?
Your claim was and still is total bull. The location was chosen because it was Granny Rooney's place of comfort.

    More recent 2010 Mail
"At the top of Storrington Avenue is the Western Approaches pub, where Rooney occasionally re-appears when visiting his mates from his new base in footballer-belt Cheshire."

No Geysir I said the local pub closest to their residence on stonebridge was hte lobster. I didnt give any credence to a couple of articles you saw years ago around world cup time and walliams or is that williams? I gave a source from someone who actually grew up there and lived there - of which I pm'd the name.

But if you want some throwaway articles here you go:

    http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news...icle25504.html

The last post I was not on about that, I didnt think you would cop the other bit, it was in relation to a song and music by The Dubliners which he listens to gearing up to the slopes.

More duplicity from Norwich. Again, the coincidental fact that Wes started 2 or 3 games in the build up to the transfer saga is brought up as if to indicate that Hoolahan is somehow in their plans. The only reason he played in any of those games is because they had 4 or 5 midfielders injured. He didn't play beforehand and he won't play again, unless Hughton is sacked.

It's getting to the stage where Hughton's reluctance to use him is becoming spiteful.

It would be fully understandable if they were in a better position without him in the team but the opposite is the case in pretty much everything; goals, assists, creativity, possession, points.

I suspect it's all down to relations between Norwich and Villa / Lambert. Or maybe they didn't want to strengthen another club possibly competing with Norwich to stay up.

Chris Hughton is favourite for the sack with the bookies.

Let's hope Tottenham beat Norwich this afternoon to hasten his demise and we never have him interfere with another Irish footballer's career again.

What if he becomes Irish manager?

    I sincerely hope he doesn't.

Mick McCarthy is still relatively young in managerial terms though. He will probably be next manager after O'Neill and if not him, there are several British managers who would be better options.

The Irish commentator on BBC5 (don't know his name) said just now that Elmander & Van Wolfswinkel have one goal and only six shots on target between them this season. He was fairly open about what he thought of that going by his tone when delivering the stat too. Hard to have time for Hughton re Holahan when you hear things like that.

They're nullifying Spurs but have absolutely no threat going forward. The best that Glenn Hoddle could come up with at half time was for Redmond and Snodgrass to swap sides! It's crying out for Wessi to be honest.

Edit:- Hughton ignores Hoddle's advice and Snodgrass gives Norwich the lead, cutting in from the right hand side. 1-0.

I wonder what the crowd reaction was like? It's his first appearance since he rightly called them a sh*thouse club.

They were buzzing when he got his first touch anyway, a tidy bit of play to relieve some pressure in his own half.
