Shouldn't it be merged into the already-existing Hoolahan thread?
The point is, A face attention seeking.
Doesn't have the same effect if you follow procedure and actually post a Hoolahan related topic in the Hoolahan thread.
The good thing for Trap is that as no one can understand him it is impossible to question his decisions (and get a comprehensible answer).
(He is actually fluent in English )
Where is Keith Treacy these days? was very impressed with him in the friendlies
Folding my way into the big money!!!
Shunted out on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, scored and set up a goal in the game that clinched promotion for them. He has all the talent to be a Premier League player but he seems to be a bit of a problem character.
I always thought of Treacy as being a bit head-down, drive along the touchline and whip in a good ball. He's strong and has a great delivery but maybe lacks a trick or two. Still that's what they say about McClean and Kevin Kilbane made a career out of it.
Kevin Kilbane and his bag of trick, as the old joke went.
Yes, we could be saying the same about james mcclean in 10 years praying he gets dropped from the left back position.
I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker
And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
I think ultimately to play a 4-5-1 (and in turn drop Keane) we'd need more of a goal contribution from midfield. A good 4-5-1 system can be flexible to attack in a 4-3-3 shape. McGeady and Duff are far more the provider kind of wide player than a wing forward. If we had the likes of Robben with a serious goal threat we could look at it.
Hoolahan called into squad VS Serbia to replace Gibson: https://twitter.com/FAIreland/status...55594535575552
BREAKING NEWS: Wes Hoolahan has just been called up to replace injured Darron Gibson for next week's game against Serbia #COYBIG
Should keep a few quiet anyway.
An Achilles injury will prevent Hoolahan from joining up with the squad.
Interesting to see if he plays for Norwich next Saturday...
Started today for Norwich, looked quite good on TV played a neat through ball, he was playing up front
in a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 where he was the first 1. They lost but it was close, Wes was one to 3 players
rated 7 (top rating for Norwich), aslo had a header blocked IIRC and he put in a good cross.
Singled out for praise by Louise Taylor in the Guardian's "10 Things" feature.
