    Ballina United

Ive never hidden my feelings for Ballina United and im not going to now. We had a Player repeatedly Punched on the Ground for what them scumbags deemed a Bad tackle. When Paul Jordan went to Pull the offending player off he was hit so hard from behind that he was left unconcious for 2 minutes. to make matters worse the ref was beyond belife and said he didnt see both incidents. I was so dishartened to hear they where back this season. The league should come down on these thugs. They are not football players. There is nobody on here who can say they are But like previous arguments if its Div 2 A or B " We dont want to know"

I, for one, am upset to see anyone banned and I find it hard to believe Mr Burns would be threatening over something like this. Anyway, would you let us know the score? thanks.
Its something very characteristic of foot.ie at this stage to be so quick in wielding the hammer and banning people from the site. It really doesn't take much to get a ban around here and its small wonder the numbers have dropped so much. Its a football forum for god sake, not something reminiscent of a communist state which with all due respect this site seems to moreso reflect at times.

Thats me for the chop anyhow but there you go. It needed to be said.

I could be wrong but I think that boards.ie could have been threatened with legal action due to remarks made about MCD so maybe that is where Damhamsta is coming from in this case.
The Castlebar.ie website had to close for this reason as far as I know.

ok so what exactly went wrong - were ye missing players? is the interest and the novelty of the new pitch gone? are ye feeling the loss of d.flynn and j.collins? or is it the leadership of k.murphy thats missing, where does this leave p.jordan? can ye turn it around?

You could sit down and analyse that game, what went wrong, who's to blame etc all day long but I don't think it's needed. They were better than us. End of. We'll train a bit harder, learn some lessons and try to do better next time. It was just one game. That's the great thing about football, there's always next week.(Your only as good as your last game)

    Thumbs down ballyheane for superleague

infact robben, i believe ballyheane have only have three points as every team who is contention will beat claremorris and snugboro so those 6pts dont really count.

Every year Ballyheane get off to a flyer only for the real Ballyheane to come true. What I mean by this is that they will do well against the big teams but could lose to a team that they should'nt. Its the same every year so I wont be suprised if they end up a distant mid table. But I have to say that the so called Super League is in serious danger. There is no way that any team irrespective of who they are or what division they are in should be loosing 14 nil. As I have said before how can things be right when a team from last year can allegally(spelling?) throw a game and get away with it and really only three or four teams can win any sort of a cup and now we have teams that get thrashed by this score-line? The Super League should be overhauled and made into a twelve team league with the top four teams from the premier into it because I'm certain that this is not the end of these sort of results
