Maybe he scored and then in celebration lifted his shirt to reveal a Delaney Out T-Shirt

The Polish player was sent off by the Polish referee (in his second ever game in charge in eL football) - I think it was for spitting!

We had that referee vs Kildare County. Wouldn't fill you with confidence judging his performance.

Wexford Youths were fined €200 for the improper conduct of their players

Left myself open to those I suppose.

I don't remember any fines for that before so it seems a bit odd to have SIX (6) of them one go.

Five teams, I think, Shamrock got stung twice. About time the league started clamping down on this particular transgression. The rule has been in place for years and yet teams have continually breached it with impunity, sometimes through sheer administrative negligence, sometimes by playing silly buggers.

A child throws a gobstopper sweet onto the pitch and we get fined €500. Yet Harps throw something on the pitch and only get fined €100?
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

I presume now the FAI running the league they are going to use fines as the stick to beat clubs into submission in effort to make the league more professional bit by bit. Late team sheet fine should increase 100 euro each time until club gets the message.

So Harps' "something" was smaller than your gobstopper. It's obvious.

How did the FAI know which set of fans set off the flares?! considering Shels were in an undesignated part of the ground where both sets of fans could mingle!

Hazarding a guess but by the colours they were wearing, the songs they were singing, and the real giveaway, who they cheered for.

I've been watching a lot of CSI lately......
