Lightbulb First choice senior XI ???

Whenever this new man is appointed - lets hope its Kerr 'cause I doubt the other candidates are up to it - does any one have any idea what 11 he's going to pick to face Scotland on Feb.12th?
More importantly, has anyone else noticed the serious lack of form shown by the vast majority of the squad (or that picked by McCarthy) in the past few weeks/months. Of the last 11 that were picked to face Switzerland, only Duffer, Robbie Keane and (maybe) Shay Given are playing well recently. And now Duff's apparently out for 6 weeks. Oh and then there's the other Keane - who isn't doing too badly.
For what it's worth here's my preferred 11:

    Given
    Carr O'Brien Cunningham O'Shea
    Finnan Reid Keane Duff
    Keane Morrisson

In the absence of Duff, purely on the basis of present form, I think Kennedy should be given a run out on the left.

    Anyone any better ideas?

i wouldnt have reid in the middle i would probably stick holland there. and if keane ever does come back , and there should be no great bowing down the the guy to get him back , cunnigham should retain the captaincy. the lack of a proper left back is worrying though and doesnt auger well for the future .by the way are ya going to the match on sunday ? it should be interesting to say the least .

    Carr - O'Brien - O'Shea - Finnan

    Reid - Healy - Keane - Duff

    Keane - Morisson

In the absence of Duff, I'd throw on Richie Partridge.

Putting Lee in would signify everthing that was wrong with the Irish international set-up.

    Keane Morrison.

Only went for Morrison 'cause someone has to go in there and from the point of view of who'll realistically get their game in the Euro qualifiers.
