I've never seen that show magicme but if that's the Dandy Warhols' tune then this is an automatic winner. That is one brilliant song, way too good for TV.

On another note (see what I did there?) the cricket music is a cracking tune called Soul Bossa Nova by Quincy Jones' band. Can't move with bloody producers trying to be pop stars these days! Wish they'd just stop!

I think you'll find the classic BBC cricket theme tune (if that's what you're talking about) is Booker T & the MG's 'Soul Limbo'.

Other good ones not mentioned yet:
    Streets of San Francisco
    Jack Ass (Minutemen song)
    Cheers

And the Wallace & Gromit theme tune.

If we're talking themes that you will always know all the words to I'd say the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghost Busters and The Fresh Prince of Belare.

Also love the A-Team, Nightrider, Baywatch and the ultimate number on best of them all never to be beaten super tune....

Ah, the Sweeney. You're right, great theme tune. Great programme too. (We're the Sweeney, son, and we aven't had any dinner They don't write em like that any more) Agree also with Hawaii 5-0.

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Ah yeah, Chips was my favorite programme for a while. I had one of those police motor bikes that you had to pedal, helmet and "CHiPs" police badge and wallet.
