Bazza was the only UCD player to make the Official Team of the Season (I'm sure you heard about it in the blaze of attention the FAI gave it!). He's also in the running for Player of the Year. Reckon he should win, but probably won't 'cos of Crowe and Houlihan getting called up to the Ireland squad. Liam Coyle's in for Player of the Year as well which is a bit of a joke as he didn't make the Team of the Season! That lad seems to walk on water - he's good, but people seem to worship everything he does - look at the Derry Goal of the Month for December!
Have to agree with you there. How can someone who can't get into the team of the season (would at best be 4th choice forward) get nominated for player of the year just cos he scored a cup winning goal.Originally posted by pineapple stu
