Hutchings is taking over at Wigan. Didn't he also take over at Bradfrod when Jewell left? Was awful too.

This is another beauty. It left me wondering though, had Warnock and Jewell placed a bet before the game, with Warnock's missus being the prize?

Not sure about that. Have you seen Warnock's missus?

Warnock has resigned. Apparently not happy about £450,000 per annum salary offer.
As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls

No mention of the above in his self-panegyric:

I bet he has his eye on the Man City job. Others mentioned in the frame Ranieri and Houllier

    Gutted for the Blunts

Bryan Robson took over today, I'm sure the anti-Blades contingent will be happy to see that.

With Brian Kidd as assistant too. They'll make a good management team too. Great to see Kiddo back in a more prominant role.

Was amused to see Warnock touting for a Premiership job on Sky (where else?) yesterday. Blamed the Blunts' relegation on everything (especially referees ) except himself. Does he really believe (bearing in mind some of the adverse decisions that Wigan got from refs that almost drove Jewell to distraction) that only his team is always on the wrong end of refs' decisions. Unbelievable.

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed is king.

Ranieri for Man City: are they mad?

Jesus its been a fun close season down Bramell Lane hasn't it, Warnock thinking that taking 7 years getting a team to the Premiership, only to go down in their first season qualifies him as a Premiership Manger, and then Robson and Kidd taking over the United reins for another eight years of mediocrity! Great stuff indeed!

I think he is a fine manager , just saved Parma from relegation.
