Or did he not play in any internationals in 2002?

Duffer no doubt about it. Oddboy, Keane only played 1 or 2 friendlies didn´t he?
Has to be Shay Given - Duff would be second, but things would have been so different in the Far East but for the Donegal between the posts and manning the penalty area so well
Effenberg played like my grandmother!
I don't know/can't remember. Thats why I was asking.Originally posted by Éanna

If it was only one or two games, he probably shouldn't be in the poll.
Other had a class season in the irish jersey!
Against Iran?
Was that 2002?
Nah?
No takers on the Western Front?
Duffer/Given close - both ahead by a long shot - went for Duff
"I don’t want to tempt fate, but Thierry Henry is not having one of his best nights." - RTE co-commentator Jim Beglin, minutes before TH struck the stunning winner.
There can be absolutely NO doubt about it, Duff was the man of 2002.
Badweather Fan, I think you're right. If my memory serves me right, the Iran match was late 2001.
Murphy Out Now!!!
Munster 33-6 Gloucester
Aint revenge sweet?!
Clinton Morisson? What's he done? Surely Stan should be in there ahead of him?
I voted for Steve Finnan, one of the most solid players at the World Cup, a breath of fresh air when he came on against Cameroon, pin point long ball up to Quinn against Germany and kept the Spanish at bay. And on top of that, played the whole World Cup with an injury he picked up on the 'parking lot' in Saipan.
Compare that to the disaster we had at left back.
