Well done lads! Looking forward to the progress report + pics. Good to see Joe was prepared to leave the pub and venture out into the rain/drizzle on behalf of the dry City hordes around the globe.
Logging out till tomorrow,

and now having seen the pics from the site Joe I'm left to wonder was it worth it.
and Peadar need not worry either...
Joe dont give up the day job![]()
it's speed of delivery that counts in this game, not quality!!!!!!
besides where else would you get pix of developments of the cross the say day you asked for them?
true point taken
10/10 for that so
Outstanding work lads (well with the second photo anyway!)
thanks neil,
i feel so appreciated now.
I can't believe that I'm now the person everyone is picking on.
I haven't given up my day job either.
There's a made thunder storm over here.
The Bohs lads must be able to see it from Tallinn too.
Joe your pictures are very arty!
The first one is very abstract.
I'm just a plain old grass roots football snapper.
The roof is going to look so funny over that side.
The cross is begining to resemble a patchwork quilt more each week.
Can someone go out and get me a burger?
I'm Lee Marvin.

I was going for that post-modern chiaroscuro llook
Outstanding stuff Joe. dedication to the cause!!! thats what i like to see!
We are in the middle of the most amazing thunder storm I've ever seen. It's shaking the whole building.
Hope this weather clears or there's a fear that the ferry crossings will be cancelled.
We don't have weather in Ireland we just have rain with the occasional dash of sunlight.

what are you doing on the net then - you'll fry your modem!
I'm in the networks office for a global communications company. T1's all the way boy. I was on the mobile to my boss and there was a clap of thunder on his end then the phone went dead. I hope he's alright because I still haven't asked him for the afternoon off tomorrow. It's not going to be easy to get a taxi home at 11:45 in the middle of this storm.
Bless overtime!

Oh crap that was close.
All the light's went out but the trusty UPS keeps me up and running.
Ah the lights are back on.
That's it I'm going home while I can still find my way out.

The photo of the ground developments especially the top one was the best laugh I've had all day!
Speaking of weather we had a storm here the other night that has over an hour of constant lightning and hailstone (this is July) the size of marbles (no exageration). The thing continued the next and caused a few tornados to touch down in the next province. We were "lucky" it passed us at night. It's the temperatures of over 30 degrees that's screwing everything up...
You'll be glad to hear that I got home safely last night and even made it back into work today. The lack of football news is no incentive to come into work. Bring on the new season.
Despite the forest fire warnings I've yet to see one. Burn baby burn.

Well at the moment in Cork it's 'raining' on and off, though this should NOT under any circumstances be confused with specifically Finnish or general Scandinavian 'true' rain. And it's a bit windy too. In fact, this whole week on the old sod has made me SO glad we've (well THEY'VE) decided to introduce non-winter football. I can see the queues already at turnstiles. And didn't Joe do well...give him a break now.
Gerry
Adding extra cover to the seated areas in Turners Cross will be needed more when we begin non-winter football. Why can't they just show the games on Sky Sports and then we can all stay in the pub to watch the games. It has to be better than sitting in a cold wet football ground. Anyone I know who takes the Sky Sports option on a Sunday afternoon is an expert on all things football! Could this be where we're going wrong?
