Only know Peter through attending the odd pats game with Dr Nitedub & through the supporters games, was always a good man for a bit of banter, can honestly say this news has knocked the wind out of me.

Sincere condolences to all his family & friends!!

Knew Peter a bit through a Bohs friend. Always funny to see a Pats fan out with a gang of Bohs fans. Knew he was in hospital, never knew it was this serious. RIP. Deeply shocked by this and he will be missed.

A familiar name around various eL message boards over many years now.

I think I met him once before an Ireland game but not 100% sure.

Stuffing well and truely knocked out of me with this news.I had the pleasure of socialising with him over the years too, and it was always garanteed to be a good night filled with laughs. Totally shocked by this news.

I can safely say nobody ever made me laugh as much as Peter. His family have been exceptionally strong, testament to him.

As with a lot of people here I got to know Peter from the old eircomleague.net
messageboard when I moved to Dublin and then when meeting for pints at
Ireland and eL team European games.

The news totally hit me for 6.

Puts all this football boll�x into perspective. Only met him a few times in person - true to form he managed to wind up every Hoop in the vicinity - but I can truly say that this place for one will be a lot poorer for his absence.
