Feast of Interantional Football for Leeside

Today's Echo reports that the u19 European Championships preliminary round will take place in Cork over five days from November 5th. The tournament sees Ireland, Yugoslavia, Croatia and Austria (maybe it's another one of UEFA's regionalised competitions?) play each other with Turner's Cross, St, Colman's Park and The Mardyke being lined up as probable venues.

Wasn't there supposed to have been a youth match at Turners Cross a year or two ago? The team was to have included Robbie Keane or something...

the under21s were supposed to play Yugoslavia there but that got cancelled, along with the seniors' match due when the government refused to issue visas over the conflict in the area.
