Got them but I have to bring the wife , she still will not trust me as I have tickets the Ireland home games and I gave them to my mate so the pair of us could go . Hey that was 5 years ago and I still don't hear the end of it .

Didn't get an email, but I logged on to the euro2008 website and was awarded two Group FMT tickets, so I'm delighted. Hope we qualify, but I'm not holding my breath.

yup. unlike the world cup, FMT only apply until your team is knocked out. in the world cup, if your team qualified and you had a FMT to the final, even if they were knocked out, you still got to ge to the final. not like that this time, which is a damn sight fairer. and judging by the fact there are people on here who were unsuccessful in FMT allocations, Irish FMT tickets were oversubscribed, so the FAI point stands true.yep. and them people may be closer than you think
seriously though, as per your question about re-applying - the FAI is your only offical option for tickets in the event of qualification
Talking of that, how do the FAI allocate such tickets? Is it block bookers first, a lottery or what? I mean, would a waiting lister who know has seats in croker stand any chance of getting tickets? I didn't apply because I thought it was fifa-esque pay up front and, being a final year student, I'm a bit in debt. Anyone have 2002 experience?
It'll be the same as away qualifiers I'd say: block bookers first, don't know after that.

Paul the thing is I only applied for the first round of matches ( 3 games ) as this is the time when most book two week deals . Now if Ireland do get there and we get past the first round what has happened in the past with the FAI is all with 3 ticket stubs get to see the next game as lots will be heading home , 2 stubs get a chance and so on , all the cheap seats go first up .
Now you still have to pay for them but it brakes it up some what .
I got two tickets mid range for Euro 525 and I am very happy with my lot . now think of it this way , at least it gives you plenty of time to save up !!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I do. Tickets appear to be way oversubscribed. I suspect the touts have been active with multiple applications.
Got FMT group games.
Under seperate application, we had applied for 2 quarter finals, semi and final. We were allocated tickets for one of those quarter finals.
No passport number reqd with this allocation
