Home advantage to help The Town shade it!

Celtic have been after Towns ground for its youth teams for years. You would think they'd be delighted to have another local team trying to get serious about bringing through youngsters. Now that underage teams seem to be taking off for the Town hopefully it'll usher in a bright future!
Great Result last Sunday. Always nice to silence the critics! Celtic in the next round.....you never know!!
Celtic have rented (at a very fair price) Moneen for a number of years as it was under used with only one team playing on it. I think you are mis guided in thinking that Celtic are unhappy with Town having their own youth teams and good luck to them. The only question I would ask why wasn't done years ago. What do you mean Celtic people are going out of their way to make life difficult for Town. I hope you can back up such a statement. Why would Celtic be bothered with Town. Celtic have enough issues of their own rather than worrying about any other club. Waiting your reply. By the way I didnt see robert of Mark Moore on the team sheet last Sunday have they left the club. Great result win of the round.

you keep slating the town, whats the story??bye the way i not a town man i just love football
im not actually slating the town, im just giving my honest opinion and i did congratulate them on the win over manulla. at the beginning of last season
the town were touted as promotion hopefuls and the players themselves thought they were a shoe-in for the title. the fact this was proven untrue hasnt deterred them whatsoever and the same things have been said at the beginning of this season so ive gone to watch them a few times and ive been dissapointed. as ive stated in a previous post, the talent is definitly there but there are too many egos on the team and when they are playing bad their heads drop and retort to cynical fouls and abusing referees, which is obviuosly coming from their new manager as i have never heard any manager abuse the ref and opposing players like he does!!

Maybe I came on a bit strong in my last post but my views come from incidents experienced over the years. Hopefully things have changed.
With regards to the Moores, Rob was back at training last night and as far as I know Marcus has decided to pack it in!

Firstly your paranoid, celtic have never shown Town disrespect recently or in the past,if so -give examples??????
And no i haven't packed it in- where do you get your info from?? I'm back playing and trainin with mitchels and have made myself available for the town if Quinner becomes unavailable at any stage.
In a previous Thread you said we needed a right back - tom canning in my own opinion the most consistent right back in div 2 for past 2yrs,you should really use some other method for getting at players you don't get on with.Anyhow you should create a thread for your own under 10 mayo division football, and stop ruining this thread by consistently writin about the town and causing **** among the players -like a good lad.

Marcus - Why are you not getting your place Castlebar Town out of interest, I wud have thought that a player who has added so much to the club and team would at least been given a good run in the team?

Am I wrong in saying that Quinner does not have any "top level" soccer experience, would you think this not a daft move by Scoby, in your own opinion to leave out a more experienced player?

So does this mean with yourself gone that the turn around, lack of discipline and level of fitness with disappear or will they survive? Would you not be better to wait and fight for your place in goal, did you not dispose Alan Reilly (isnt that his name) for Celtic B to be their no 1 keeper when you won the league?

Maybe a move back to Celtic? I hear Dykes is looking for a keeper.

Again i'll repeat i haven't left castlebar town,i'm puttin my effords into gaelic and makin myself available for selection if ever needed. To busy to put in 100% for both gaelic and soccer.
Scoby will do a good job this year with town, lot of games to be played, but will be pushing for promotion this year.Great result last weekend in the cup against Manulla,I know they were missin a few players, but town were also without their first choice centre backs -quigley and robbie. So its a game to build on and kick start the season and get a good win over the bombers this weekend!!?!

I don't think Mr Flanagan would be too impressed by your accusations Marcus!
I have no problem with Tom. As far as I know we get on. If everyone at the club showed his committment they probably would'nt be in Div 2. My views on right back are just my opinion. I think it along with other positions can be improved upon. As for "causing ****" among the players...I do believe that's your job!
Sat evenings game with the Bombers should be interesting. They always give a good performance against the Town. As was stated in a previous thread it should be a good indicator as to who will be challenging for promotion at the seasons end.

MaMoore must be choking on Castlebar Towns result. He was dropped by the manager and he then took four players with him and after all his tripe he spewed on this site how him and other players turned things around. Dont bite the hand that feeds you but in his case its to late

what you on about -why would i be choking????????
delighted that we beat manulla - especially when we were not given a hope -but we have proved to be well up to the challenge of playing very well against super and premier league teams for the past two seasons.Just need to put those performances into the league now. -- i have two brothers on the starting 11 - - so why in earth would i be wishing for them to lose?? - - -madness!!!!!!!!!!!!

your right it will be a good indicator--i fimly believe that the town will get a result - -due to the game been played on a normal sized pitch.the wingers will cause havoc -they didn't have the space out in ballyvary.

i thought ballyvary had one of the widest pitches around?? if its a bigger pitch in moneen, surely ur not suggesting jinxy is going to use his pace and fitness and cause havoc!!

    Pitches

Ballyvary pitch may not be the widest pitch around but I think you'll find it falls within the regulation size - Don't think you can call that 'abnormal'. It is certainly a better quality pitch than Moneen as regards surface.

    Wingers

Also forgot to say that the 'town wingers didn't get room in Ballyvary because they weren't allowed any room by the Bombers defence!

i agree with robben 11 it is very childish fighting over a website and boosting about how you have changed a football cluband giving out about players
