Clew Bay had a convincing win over S & F 4-0, dont think S & F had any chance on goal, Clew Bay should have scored more. Referee was very fussy, pulled on every little thing by both teams and didnt let the game flow at all. any reports on any other games?

Bloody hell (scratches head) where oh where might I start. First might I make a recommendation. Take a few months away from the site and come back and read 10 pages in one sitting. Its great fun altogether. I take it everyone is alive and well and there haven't been any physical slayings to match the keyboard slayings I've just read. Still it was very entertaining stuff. Always good to see the usual Mayo Football love in on foot.ie.

Some great reading altogether. I see I have been joined on the site by a second representative of Ballyvary Blue Bombers. He does stand out for most sense made of course. Oh and Swinford f.c of course. And then there is the legendary Irishyop, ever stirring Irishyop eh.

Anyhow its good to be back. I think i need a lie down after reading all that.

It was touch and go there for a while How are we getting on. Tis a long story but it'll be all behind me in 7 weeks time. Hanging on in there until then.

Belated welcome to foot.ie. The natives can be very hostile so don't be feared.

Hope you're not being serious there MT!! I don't think Town could afford to lose too many to suspensions. Is there a few of ye close? I hear ye had a tough game against Erris. Weekends results have tightened things up again in Div2a. Big game up next against Clew Bay.

All I heard was that it was a very tough game. Town took an early lead through Paul Maye only for Erris to peg one back.

few very close, if not already their!! but iam sure other teams will have the same problems.
erris was a tough game, but still shud have won it, gave them a soft goal. maye scored a cracker, good team performance first half, erris finished stong near the end, hate to say it but a draw was a far result.

erris manager had to come on to the pitch to help one of hes injured players, think he was demaning a red card for the challange. ref decided best option was to call half time, that was it really div2 handbags

Probably nothing unless the ref mentions it in his match report.

    New League DIV 2

Would any clubs be in Favour of joining the two divisions together and just paying everyone twice. It would be mean more games and alot more midweek games. I dont think its fair to just choose the differnt sections as i believe 2B is a far easier than 2a this season with no offence to anyone. Id be in favour of a fairer league and more footy!!! Just a feeler. No harm in a debate on it. Anyone have any opinion
