Dear Boys in Green,
I'm leaving home now to go watch you play tonight. I wont get home until 2am with a child in tow. Its costing me a fortune ever time I do this and I do this ever time you play.
I do it for the love of the jersey and with the hope that you'll do us proud. I'll sing and shout and support you through thick and thin as long as you serve the jersey in a manner that it deserves. With pride and passion and honour and by working hard individually and as any Irish team should in any sport in any code in any stadium in the world.
I ask no more of you. Best of luck lads. Do us proud and no regrets.
Yours in sport,
A Humble Fan.
