Exclamation Seating in Croke Park - BlockBookers

Guys , Did anyone else have this problem?
I have written the FAI about it and would appreciate if anyone else who is in the same boat wrote to them too. below is part of the mail

I have been allocated three seats in croke park and they are numbered 13, 14 and 15.
Unfortunately in croke park all seats 14-15 are separated by the aisle.
So the three of us who attended the game could not sit together.
I noticed as I looked down the aisle that lots of people were shouting across to each other so I reckon I was not the only one to experience this.
Would it be possible for you to ensure for the German and Cyprus games ( and future games in Croker) that we are not separated ?

They got back to me immediately and said they will keep the query on file.
" as we will be looking into all such queries in the coming weeks in the hope that we can rectify such matters for the 2 Autumn matches. "

Good stuff! anyone with the same problem please weigh with the FAI lads, thanks

Yeh ours were separated too, worst seats in the house. Pitch level in the canal, couldnt see anything, and the screens were about as helpful as Steve Staunton. Poor show imo, not good enough for those involved in block booking for so long.
    Resign, now!

we got three lower Hogan section 326. Two together and the third in the row in front 6 seats over from us. Defintely going to send them an email and hopefully get it sorted for the Autumn matches but I am not hopeful.

I went with my brother and was seperated by the stairs but I wasn't too bothered tbh. I just talked to the guy beside me and he did the same.

I'm a block booker and asked for 6 Upper Davin, and got 6 Upper Davin all beside each other. Again, people around me seemed more interested in calling O'Shea O'Sh1t and having a go at the players instead of singing etc. At the start just after the anthems the atmosphere was good and I had the false impression it might continue with people standing for the whole game, but within 3 mins everyone was down sitting on their hands and only stood up when we scored.

We had 5 tickets block booked, and only 2 of them were together. All in the same block, but may as well have been all over the ground for the difference it makes to be in the same block. What I couldnt get was the fact in the row I was in, there was a lad beside me who said he was separated from his mate who block booked. How the hell can they have made such a **** up of the ticket distribution.

3 of us block booked for about 20 years, with seats together. For Croker got all 3 in the same section (Cusack Lower) but two at opposite ends of a row and one about 20 rows back. Seperating lads is not on when you move to a BIGGER stadium... not gonna help the atmosphere either...

    Have sent them a letter...

I have 4 tickets but we are split into 2. It's a right pain in the ass - I'm at one of 304 and they are at the other end plus on a different row!

I saw one guy seperated from his son on the other side due to seat numbers like above.

now that is funny - so long as the kid isn't under the age of 13! Fingers crossed they can accomodate a few requests like that.
