Heard at the weekend that ye were trying to sign De Athlones u21 player of the year Damien Rushe, but he's decided to stay put!
He's a decent player, just back form China with the Irish colleges team. Never really got a chance with the 1st team last season but now with Stewie and Elvis gone he might get the call!!!!!!

yey hes probably better off staying with a small time outfit like athlone....get some experience and maybe someday join the big boys in the premier...you never know he might even one day sign for the midlands premier club "de town" until then he can only dream of what might have been
