7 or 8 I spoke to in the Oak
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

Ye can't seem to perform in the second half at all.
Is he any closer to the door or likely to be given a full disappointing season to get things going(worked after 2005)?
I suppose there wouldn't have been much hope held out for last night.

Not within my circle of family and friends is Fenlon getting any blame. The goalkeeping situation is the only thing that concerns us. The defence hardly can perform with Side Show Bob and Krusty playing behind them. I thought last night after an hour we were going to win by the required 2 goals and then SSB messes up again. We have taken the lead in all the setanta games that we lost , I'm sure with a goalkeeper of some calibre I have no doubts that we would have been sitting at the top of the group.
As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls

Wasn't Jennings Junior actually good when he covered for Forde?
If i was Fenlon I'd kill for Mark McNulty.
The only place where City have a perfect replacement on the bench.
Thankfully, I don't think he'd be let go.
Would it appear the DCFC fans i sampled aren't representative so?
    Is it 50-50?

Jennings saved 3 pens against Shels in the league cup final. He promptly blotted that by getting sent off in the next game in the league vs Shels. Again we threw away a 2 nil lead in that game. He was desperate when he signed for us. In the year Dykes had us himself and Ciaran Kelly were the keepers, both were as bad as the other. Kelly has disapearred from the radar completely, Jennings still with us. He's a bad number two and that's it. If McNulty is any good he should get himself up here to play regular football.

There is only a few hotheads who are against Fenlon. Most people blame the players and the players I know blame themselves.

Fair summary. I agree with all of the above.

Funny - I thought that was a shocking referee decision, which was brought about by a Dublin conspiracy?

Derry had the chance to sign Dean Delaney and Darren Quigley in pre-season; don't know why they didn't.

Delaney was offered a contract and he refused it. Thats coming from the man himself. He is on better money with Waterford, than what was on offer at Derry simple as.
Quigley is a decent Keeper and im shocked Derry didnt sign him. (maybe the same reason as Delaney but i dont know)

At Harps i was confident that we had two of the best keepers in Div1 (ive been prooved wrong since though) I think Keeper is one of the hardest positions to fill and it goes to show how good forde actually is

I'm almost certain that Quigley rejected a move to Derry in the winter.

Have Derry any outfield players that could go in goal until July?

If Derry continue as they are they're going to embarrass the league in Europe this season.

There's a rule in place that you have to wait 10 years before a Pats fan can mention "Europe" and "embarrass" in the same sentence.

A few more to go yet.

We've served our sentence and are now returning fully rehabilitated!! Think we must have had two years suspended.

July July! I'm sure there will be more keepers available in the summer than was on offer in Dec and Jan. We'll be ok hopefully to stay within touching distance. A nice wee unbeaten run from then might see a return on my 11/2. Oh the optimism!!

Id hardly say that if you see the job they are doing at Finn Park, Higsy may be noisy, some say a motivator but he clearly hasnt a clue when it comes to coaching or management

Sure Matt Gregg was available. Not saying he's amazing but he's a solid enough option.

I bet you would just love to have our manager right now. I mean a statue would be just as good - 1 point out of a possible 15 . Heck, you would be a better manager yourselfs all of you

Finn Harps manager got more funds and backing than the previous 2 managers but is still doing a crap job. Cut backs are looming again Id say. Which players will be snapped up this year, or would anybody want them????

Can't sign loan players, but I'm pretty sure you can sign players that are un-attatched.
