Thats rubbish. Kenny had a fantastic squad at Bohs and Fenlon outdid him twice out of three times with similar resources. Kenny has one league title to his name, Fenlon has won three, including one back to back success.

The one time Kenny won the title, was Fenlon's first season in charge at Shels. Kenny had half a season to prepare the title bid, Fenlon got the Shels job after that half season ended.

In Kenny's final season at Bohs, we were 10 points adrift after 20 games played [each]

This was a Bohs team with Ryan, Morrison, Crowe, Grant, Hawkins, Ward, Hunt, Lynch, Webb, Heary, Harkin, Keddy etc. On paper it was a squad just as good as the Shels squad.

I don't know how much of Derry you've seen this year FinnPark, but Rogers has been one of our better players.

Can't see Fenlon being sacked. They were in a tough Setanta Cup group & can take time for new managers to settle in. Just like with all top clubs the league is the priority & Derry have lost to two potential title challengers so not as if they lost to poor teams.

It has been reported on a forum elsewhere that Fenlon offered his resignation last night. Not sure how true that is but no smoke without fire as they say.

Rogers has been one of the better performing Derry players recently actually.

But we'll just take your word for it then as you've seen the EL highlights show - my differing opinion pales by the odd full game in 7 that I am judging him on.

Have you just finished a Bachelors in Derry City Football Club or something with the constant self-appreciating posts regarding the performance of the team and the manager?
How's the Finn Harps manager doing?

However hes doign he doesnt have the same budget nor the same wage. Your supposed to get what you paid for. If Fenlon is this bad on what you paid imagine how bad he would get if you doubled his salary

I bet you would just love to have our manager right now. I mean a statue would be just as good - 1 point out of a possible 15 . Heck, you would be a better manager yourselfs all of you

Or how about 6 out of a possible 12 in the league - which is 50% better than a certain other club with only 4 points out of a possible 12 to their name in a p!sh-easy league.....

Does everyone in Donegal live in glasshouses next to a pile of rocks, or just the good people of Ballybofey...?

That % is going down every match. Its 0% wins in the last 5 games. What he still is doing as manager is behond me.

Its funny how people don't read between the lines when judging someone's capability. Ollie Byrne chaired his club to a number of premier division titles. Does that make him the best Chairman in the league. The fact remains that he signed the best players in every position on the pitch at Shels and still managed to do a botch job in it. He finished 4th one season but people's memories on this forum as are short as the distance between Longford and Derry in Premier table. What has he really achieved? How many FAI cups? How many League Cups? He won last season's title on refereeing decisions.

think so, but be careful cos these are primarily used in the burning of smart arses.

A lot of anger towards Fenlon from the DCFC fans i spoke to.
Not one of them agreed with the "give him a bit more time" line.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.
