I wasn't backing Keane up at all with that post. I'm just showing the difference between the Welsh and Irish supporters. Keane is slated by the Irish and rightly so. Bellamy's record is worse and the Welsh adore him.

Having Given back in the team gives me the warm fuzzy. He kept Germany to 1 goal. He would not have left in 5 against Cyprus, I'm not saying Keeny was responsible for the 5 golas but Given's presence and leadership would have helped the defense. He also wouldn't have gifted San Marino the goal that Henderson did and you could arguably say he would have saved the goal the Czechs scored in Dublin. He is probably our best player. Scratch that, he is our best player.

Staying on goalkeepers, why has Stan called up Doyle and not Randolph? When Given was injured the pecking order seemed to be Henderson, Colgan, Randolph. Now with Given back it was originally Given, Henderson, Colgan. When Henderson cried off injured he calls up Doyle not Randolph for the #3 spot? He's not going to use Doyle so what does that say to Randolph? I give up, there is no consistency.

Couldn't agree more with all of that.

robbie is already crucified by a lot over here sometimes rather unfairly . He gets ****e service and cause of this drops far too deep to try to get involved in the game . Keane needs duffer to be firing so he can supply him with decent supply. Hopefully with Doyle beside him again and Ireland in midfield we will see the best of Robbie again.

Im fairly confident. Whatever about the manager the team with the best 11 players usually win games and i think our team tomorrow is much better than the Welsh.
