There have been some players who some of us have been deserving of a cap ( or at least a call up to the squad ), now and in the past. Let us know who you think should've been or should be capped ( for Ireland ).
For me, Jason Gavin would be one though I don't think he is as good now as he was in the past. I'd say Jason Byrne but he has got a few caps ( all bar one were token caps though ). Colin Hawkins is an excellent player and should be in the squads.

Willie John Boland has been a steady performer for years without getting a full cap ever. He made a Premiership debut back in 1993 as a 17-year-old with Coventry, and played for them for years before putting in a good stint at Cardiff. I think he is still knocking around the lower leagues even now. A lot of worse players picked up a couple of caps in the meantime ...
Did Stephen Geoghan (i'm pretty sure i've spelt that wrong) ever win a cap? If not he's a contender. Sean Thornton maybe. Its a difficult one actually, it's hard to think of any half decent one around at the moment without a cap, and think of some of the rubbish who've got them in the past. That means you, Paul Butler
