    Directions to Lissywoolen?

Seen that ye are playing on Sunday afternoon against Wexford Youths. Thinking of heading to it so just wondering how to get to the new ground? Don't know Athlone that well at all so please be as direct as possible. Is it near Mel's?

Roscommon Road is N61. When you turn off the bypass again you're onto the N55 (Ballymahon Road).

    Question Lissywollen

I was at the Ireland vs Wales game and as we were walking into Croke Park everyone were given a kind of pocket fixture list of all the games in the premier and first division and in Athlone Town's slot the venue is called Lissywollen. Did the directors of A.T.F.C. actully send that name is to eircom or is that just to give travelling support and idea.
