As far as I know CCFC asked us to play the game that little bit earlier...
Whats the reasoning behind the 7pm ko?
I thought a lot of Town supporters travelled out from the pale? Has it anything to do with the city team travelling home a little early?

I have found men who didn't know how to kiss.
I've always found time to teach them.
yeah so fans and players can home to da real capital at a reasonable hour in the Am.
Yeah, Cork asked us to move the match to the 7pm kick off, as they had facilitated us with a Saturday evening kick off rather than a Friday evening... Really don't see what difference half an hour really makes, apart from letting those of us based in Dubland have some chance of making the game

its to make up for the monday closing hours of the pubs
soccer isn't a matter of life or death its more important than that!!!
It makes it a lot easier to get back 2 dublin...last bus/train is always at about 9.30ish...
See thats where you should take a leaf from Longford's book - just ignore the ridiculous licensing laws and open as late as you want...Originally posted by mouldymurphy
