Preview: Cork City v Galway United
Cork City and Galway United both got off to disappointing starts to the season. While Galway lost at home to Sligo, Cork's opening season form has become worrying. They have lost two of their three games to date, drawing the other with Dungannon.

If Galway's home loss to Sligo was a surprise, Cork's loss away to Waterford was an absolute shock. However, the theme of their three games to date has been a lack of goals with John O'Flynn's late goal in the 3-1 loss to St. Pats on Monday coming as their only goal to date.
Cork City's Colin Healy and Gareth Farrelly both seem set to spend at least another week on the sidelines as the FAI get ready to meet FIFA over the three clubs per year problem. Galway goalkeeper Gary Rogers is also ruled out by the same rule having played for Dublin City and Bray Wanderers within the time-frame.
