Three wickets gone now according to Newstalk hopefully it'll put the brakes on Zimbabwe, they were firing out runs in the last few overs.

In fairness man its cricket. Noone gives a hoot bout it. There only gonna show big coverage for those sports that people have an interest in.

They're a$$holes, is what they are. Fair play for making the trip but their antics are embarrassing. Worse than the Barmy Army.

Ireland have taken a couple of quick wickets, needless catches lobbed to mid on. One each for Johnston and McCallan. Should have been a third immediately, McCallan spilled the ball when he should have completed a run out. 107/3, Zimbabwe still big favourites.

Zimbabwe 128-4, the danger man Sibanda out hit wicket for 67, stepping onto his stumps from an Andrew White delivery. Tiniest sliver of hope for Ireland. Wicket maiden for White. Next wicket crucial.

133-5! Chigumbura ("Chickenburger", according to Niall O'Brien's sledging) caught by Bray off McCallan. Two experienced players at the crease. Next wicket crucial (again.)

You're not wrong...one group have the Norn Iron shirts and RFC tattoos, and then there's the Ole Ole brigade on the other side of the stadium! Leprechanun outfits an' all There's a OWC banner too..

Did you hear the commentator earlier, on seeing a NI flag "That's the St.George's cross! What's that doing here? Not too sure about that!" he did retract this with an apology and the classic line "don't shoot the messenger"

Yeah, there's a really bizarre dichotomy in the Irish support!

Sheirdan, fair play for making the trip? Is it not the equivalent of an FF or FAI junket?

Where do Ireland tend to play at home? Somewhere in Belfast?

157-5, 65 needed off 92 deliveries at 4.3 an over. Zimbabwe well on course. McCallan is having a shocker. First-baller in the Irish innings then some shocking misfields which are killing Ireland. Not bowling well either, despite his two wickets.

Nah, a lot of them have financed it themselves at great hardship and expense. Probably not those clowning around though. Ireland play their home internationals at Stormont and Clontarf (only the former suffices for the big games.)

Obligatory Leprechaun costume wearing goons in attendence. I still maintain they should have kept the death penalty on the statute book for that.

Painfully obvious that my fellow Nordies are separate from the Southern fans, but if its any consolation, the North West lads won`t be speaking to the Belfast & Down lads. Such is Irish cricket.

An over where there's no runs scored.

Looks like will go down to last few overs. 167-5, 38 overs, Ireland need a couple of wickets soon as Zimbabwe picking off boundaries when they need them. Zimbabwe have too many wickets in hand & could go for broke soon.

    The Ireland fans are embarishing.
