    International debut for Gary Curran

lads, with all the negativity it seems this was missed. surprised it not posted here (disclaimer: might have missed due to selected viewing problem ) Well done to the lad. He's going to go on to better things surely.

Gary Curran, Sligo Rovers supremely talented Tubbercurry born midfielder, made his under 21 international debut during the week against Slovakia in Ireland’s opening game of the Madeira tournament.

Curran came on as second half substitute in a game that ended in a one nil win for Ireland.

Following a two-all draw against the hosts yesterday, Ireland will face Portugal on Friday in an attempt to retain the trophy.
