    Felix Healy

Is it just me or is Felix Healy the greatest bo11ox ever to grace our tv screens. I have bitten my tongue on him for a good while due to the general sh1te that comes out of his mouth but what he said tonight after the setanta sports game between pats and cork takes the biscuit. Alan Kirby got man of the match and he goes on to say he is a wonderful player and that he hadnt upset anyone so far this season so he was gonna upset longford fans by saying that he believed he had stayed at longford for too long. He said that for the past couple of seasons longford have been going backwards and that that can cause a player to do likewise. Pat Dolan correctly pointed out that he had won three cups with longford and was involved in our golden era. The jester then goes on to make a total tool of himself by saying that he could have a league medal under his belt by now if he moved on and cited Derry City as a team that were looking for him in the past while. Eh newsflash Felix Derry havent won the title since Kirby joined longford ya tw@t so how has he missed out on a league medal.

Kirby is clearly one of the best midfielders in the league and is under-rated IMO. The best players in the league would obviously be better off at better clubs. Kirby would have improved Derry last year and made a difference between them and Shels. While Kirby had success at Longford he would have had far more success at one of the league's better teams- there's no denying that. You need to relax and stop letting the team you support cloud your judgement.

Kirby was always wasted at Longford but he won't do much better at Pats.

Still living in Longford, building a house here seemingly. He'll be back eventually ;-)
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

I didn't watch Setanta after the match but he said at half time that in the 2nd half we'll see the Pats "that I know and you know", expecting them to sit back. Delighted Pats proved him wrong as he usually is.

"The Old 1-0 to St. Pat's" eh Felix?

    He's spot-on about Kirbs though.

Sonic, you have to understand what he meant, He was saying that he could have been even better at a top team rather then being with Longford, you could say that about many players but with players that have great ability in mid table team, would become a great player at a top team.

Felix is is a moron. He shouldn't be allowed on TV as he cannot exercise a professional manner and his judgement is clouded in everything he says eg his commentary when Linfield are playing.

Although the other fella, the big fella Doolan or whatever his name is, is a legend

    all talented
    all ball players

all well in good in their own right

put all three on the same side however and you have something quite extraordinary - an LOI midfield unit who are all comfortable on the ball, practically unheard of in these days of Drogheda Nil

Felix Healy done a good job for us as manager but to accuse other teams of bein a "1-0" team is a bit of a hypocrite as thats how we won the 1st div with him with most of our games bein boring 1-0 wins.

He has always been out-spoken and tbh we should be used to it by now, hes right about Kirby though in that hes quality player.

For somone who's been going on for the last couple of years on Setanta about playing good football I found Felix's inability to get Pats much credit last night very strange. If there's one thing you could say about the performance it's that they always looked to pass the ball.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
