Strange that there was no attendance given for the Drogheda Cork Game as it was the league decider.
approx: 3000 at Harps - Kildare last night.

We are the Galway Boys Stand up and make some noise"
Drogs v Cork City: I would guess 3000 based on previous figures given for similar games & the numbers on the main terrace. Ground far from full though. Could get 1000 in easily but don't think the demand there.
Cup Semi: Bohs v Cork City
3000 would be solid estimate 2500:500 split
Looked less than that on the telly, to be honest. A and B were less than half full at the end of the Jodi, and wouldn't have said more than 300 in the Des Kelly, although it's very hard to call that one as there's space in the back and everyone's standing up.
the demand wasn't there!! - sure the tickets only sold out 6 days before the game (apart from the 50 or so sold to cork), and the additional tickets released after the fire officer allowed an increase in capacity also sold, but of course pete (obviously not wumming about the drogs) reckons there was no demand![]()
About 700 at Dundalk FC vs. Limerick 37.

I must go and support a club that don't suffer any fluctuation in attendances and don't have any scumbag element that latch onto the club but who are just interested in causing a row.
We are not the only club that have this problem. I'm not going to defend them though. They are scum looking for a fight, plain and simple. Most of them would only see promotion as an opportunity to cause trouble at bigger fixtures. I don't like the implication however that because I chose to stand on the terrace rather than sit in the stand that I am somehow subhuman.
The far side of your ground is packed full of sub-human creatures.
If they were at my club I (A) Wouldn't associate with them (You'd swear there was nowhere else to stand in Oriel) and (B) Would be doing everything in my power to get rid of them.
Oriel, outsides of Colmans, the only ground I've been shaped at in this season.
Just aswell they're all mouth and no bolli x.
Dry your eyes about the implication anyway, there isn't even a stand in Jackman to choose to sit in and I'm very much human thanks very much
Genuinely wasn't a dig, even if was perceived as such.
Just pointing out that Dundalk have fallen well off the cart in recent weeks and their, seemingly hardcore loyal following, has dwindled.Pity to see that.
Despite the dying hatred and obsession by a few Dundalk fans(sduffy)of GUFC i have alot of admiration for them-they brought 600 fans to Terryland last year when they were 3rd-and now they can only get 700 at home-yet still 3rd(albeit they're not in as strong a position as 06'.)

Drogs v Cork officially was 2,500 I think. There was tickets released in dribs and drabs all week as the stupid health and safety brigade were gradually appeased. There was defo more than that in the ground though! I'd guess 3,000.
The genuine Dundalk fans hate their presence and there has been a big clamp down in recent weeks on alcohol being smuggled into the ground which is good to see. People are getting thrown out now for unacceptable behaviour whereas before a blind eye was turned to them. Hopefully this kind of thing continues and they come to realise that Oriel is not the place for them to recreate scenes from Green Street.
