    Waterford - 1,248 (915; 1,513; 1,753)

    FIRST DIVISION
    Athlone - 860 (421; 316; 291)
    Cobh - 510 (368; 403; 240)
    Dundalk - 1,622 (1,078; 474; 591)

    First Division average - 750 (570; 520; 512)

    Overall average - 1,256 (1,070; 1,195; 1,218)

FD is an average crowd in the First Division; PD is an average crowd in the Premier Division. I've only put that in where the attendances was when the club was in a different one to their current division.

    Recent matches missing -
    Longford v Rovers
Derry v Rovers I'd guesstimate 2,500. Longford v Rovers around 450. Awful home support.

Fair play to Galway great crowd last night. Pic of Glynn in the herag yesterday with the new stand in the background.

Wasn't more than 200. 150-160 maybe. Shels fans outnumbered Monaghan fans quite easily

Would be happy too. At Least 3,000 people. the stand was packed and loads of people standing behind each goal. They had a section reserved for us and as we didnt use all of it there was loads of Galway fans sitting there as there was simply no where else to sit. Excellent game too so that should keep attendances up a bit.

Was the game recorded? Maybe they should bring it out on DVD!

    Joking.
Seriously well done to Galway on their crowds, hopefully we can match them next year if we go up.

Spot on, fantastic to see fans standing by their team like that. So often its the case when a team moves up a division, (see Galway fans no digs there) its all great crowds at the start, then after a poor start you`re back to even lower than you had in the First Div. Nice to see one club buck this trend.

    Fair play

Strange phenomen. Great crowds in Terryland, seems to be a lot of people who come up for a detached look at the match as opposed to United supporters.

I would say that at most 10-20% of the people in Terryland wore scarves/jersies/tops etc. Also there isn't a huge amount of passion shown, unless United score.

Nevertheless, these are the type of "demographic" the EL needs to see at matches. Around eight months since our last win at home - encouraging that we can still pull in 3,000.

Great crowd last night especially considering it was a tuesday...the weather helped but definitely around the 3000 mark.

More seats added to the left since that picture was taken (they are red in colours) its 250 and incidently 180 for Kilkenny game is nearly about right.

It's phenomenal - the sligo rovers manager was lamenting yesterday about the size of the crowd, and wishing that fans here in sligo would come out in similar numbers.

why was the crowd so big? was it the new signings / former international factors / new stand as another poster suggested?

or nothing else to do in Galway on a Tuesday night, as another poster suggested.

    Sligo V Galway

about 2000 id say tonight, mind you the turnstile operation is a farce at the showgrounds, cash being taken hand over fist at the ticket kiosk and no tickets being given out because they ran out. This is totally unprofessional and this amateurism usually leaves the clubs dry. Crazy stuff door of kiosk wide open 2 guys inside and one at outside the door and cash all over the floor of the kiosk/porto cabin. I would love to see the reconciliation sheet.
