It's not a question that he can't count. He didn't count, if he had he wouldn't say '100 max' or 'about 100' he'd have a more precise figure.

The nippers sat in the stand during the game so be careful not to count them twice, they may be included in your '100 max' figure, depending on how you do your counting.

Agreed, in both cases pineapple should (and did) use the official figure from the club, same rule for both.

Your arguments completely ignore the fact that I've said that the offficial attendances this year have been vindicated by observation and counts, therefore I'm happy with them. I've given a reason why I disregarded official figures last year, a reason which doesn't apply this year. The Sligo count is just nonsense, which is why I'm ignoring it, same as I'd ignore anyone who sai tehre was 1000 there.

In the Sligo case, I "ignored" the official figure because I'd been given a lower figure, also quoting a club official.

I was cynical about our official attendances at the start of the season, but they've been right so far. I don't see any reason to doubt that view now just because you can't count.

I heard 200 mentioned but from pictures looked like less than 100.

171 officially in away section including 31 from a group from Kerry who were at the local Kids olympic games representing Ireland.

To be precise I had 89 and 88 I rounded up to give benefit of doubt , its not very hard to count up to 200 people maybe I shouldn't be a chartered accountant if I can't count , again as i stated before I can't see invisible or dead people hence there may be a slight variance.

The attendances thread here forms the basis for the current Aertel league article, incidentally. Apparently Bohs are showing a significant drop in support in the past couple of years, down from 2340 to 2290. Other than that though, it's a standard enough article.
