Celebrating 130 Years of Athlone Town Football Club - Pride of the Midlands Since 1887
736 UCD v Drogheda
there was about 100 at the game tonight, about ten from Limerick
Official attendance was 754 as possted on ShelsWeb. Seems high to me but sure they'd never lie would they??Probably be about 5 times that here tonight for the Leeds game

About 950 at Waterford United v St Pats last night.
I would have said 1200 at the Waterford game.. 950 seems far to low!
I'd have thought less than 950 tbh

And Trevy again was way too low. There was a bit in excess of 1150 there, the hundred and fifty souls on the hill and strung along the perimeter not making up for the 250-odd spaces in the main stand.
1270-250+150=1170. Maths, innit?
Decent Pat's attendance too, been a while since block A looked reasonably well populated. Must have been all those hooped infiltrators!![]()

About 400 at Athlone Town vs Cobh Ramblers Saturday night with about 10 from Cobh who all enjoyed the luxury of the new stand.
Lot on last night that took away from the attendance including Westmeath vs Longford (Would attract a crowd even if it was the sewing championships) and Roscommon vs Kildare both being played within a 30 min drive of Athlone.
Waterford v Pat's official attendance on the Blues website given as 1134.

What was the attendance for Corks intertoto game?
Sligo Rovers -V- Derry
Both stands were full and about 100-200 people standing around the pitch. My guess is 3,000. With the new manager and all it would have brought out a crowd.
Any Derry fan who knows the ground well correct me if i am wrong.
Was at the Cork Offaly hurling game the weekend, and they announced the official attendance as 15,000 i think, but the men behind me were all laughin callin them corrupt ****s over the tax i think, found it hilarious first GAA match i was at in years and EL always seem to be overhyping attendance i know Rams always do it, not officials but supporters. Think of if bout 20000 at the game at 20 euro a man, alot of money!!

Sure at the Limerick V Tipp replay in the Gaelic grounds it was full as it could have been!! We were getting squashed in the terraces and they said there was 31000 (or something around that) there when it holds 49000 + and it was packed out!! How many was at the Cork intertoto match?
