I like his neck tat. Boss. Better avoid those Denver clubs at 4AM though, ask the Broncos about that.
No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
Ah Caleb, Ill always remember him for the hassle he caused the Italian back four that night in Bari.
Nice footwork for first goal. Didn't know he had that in him. Fair play to him
Folding my way into the big money!!!
Tell you what.......the lad can still put the ball in the net. He's back enjoying his football again and he looks very confident in front of goal. With the injury problems we're having with Doyle and Best he's right back in the running for a place in the squad for my money.
What's the deal with this guy, he just couldn't get a contract with any club in England or what? Surely he can't be on more money in the MLS than he would have been in League 1? Can someone shed some light on this please?
sometimes a change in scenery is all someone wants or needs. Plus he's 28 so he is no spring chicken, he has a dodgy injury history so maybe there werent too many takers in the Championship. Most of all, Rapids coach Gary Smith - who likes his target men - really, really, really wanted to sign him - badly. By the way, Folan was signed to Colorado as a marquee player which means that he is on a decent wedge. Id reckon it would be probably more than his Hull contract was.
i honestly think he is yesterdays man as far as the Irish team goes. Out of (Trap's) sight, out of mind. Unless he goes on a total domination of the MLS of course.Tell you what.......the lad can still put the ball in the net. I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
DP minimum is $450K so it would be south of that. I'd guess around $250K. The players union publishes salaries later in the year.
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
"Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.
Folan replaced after 60 minutes tonight away to FC Dallas. Colorado losing 3-0 at the time.
He had very little service throughout and only had a yellow card and one shot narrowly wide to show for his efforts.
"There's man all over for you, blaming on his boots the fault of his feet" - Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Godot
If Best is out Folan could well sneak into contention again, especially if Doyle doesn't make it.
Tardelli agrees Stuttgart http://www.irishtimes.com/sports/soc...294788172.html. Makes sense. Folan suits the way we play and good to see him back playing for Colardo.
Limped off with a groin strain after 30 minutes of their game with NE Revolution. Ended 0-0.

So would I. It's a lot better than Championship standard and having watched quite a bit of it I would suggest that the top teams in MLS are about five/six years away from bottom of Premier League standard. MLS is getting more popular all the time, although getting their top clubs access to the Libertadores Cup will help the league immeasurably.

Caleb's the fourth highest paid player at the club (franchise?)
