    Premier Division Top Scorer

Paddy Power have this priced up now:

    http://www.paddypower.com/bet?action...470&bir_index=

Crowe heads the market @ 7/2, Fabio and John O'Flynn are next at 11/2 with Roy O'D & Mark Farren @ 7s and Gary O'Neill, the best striker in the league at 9/1.

It's wide open and with e/w terms of 1/4 1-2-3-4 there's surely value.

Boylesports are expected to go up within 24 hours.
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"

Gary O Neill is not the best goal scorer in the league IMO. Saying that he is a great forward and will set up goals as well as score them. Cant see him finishing top scorer though.

Surprise the odds on John O flynn are so short. The odds on him staying fit would probably be longer.

Roy and Farren are both a good price. Chance that Roy could leave in February though and Farren is injury prone too.

Dont see many 20goal a season strikers around this year

    Huh?

I think 15 goals will be enough for top scorer.

Crowe would be my prediction but not at those odds.
Roy is good odds if he stays, Farren and maybe Zayed.
Can't see it being John O'Flynn or Fabio.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

I think Kirby will be the main man for pats up front this season (25-1 e.w. 1-2-3-4)

Crowe at 7/2 is shocking value IMO. No obvious candiates though

Pretty stingy odds considering he's playing in the LSL.

All things considered, Farren is the only 20-goal candidate of the lot.

I'll be having couple of quid e/w on Georgescu @ 50/1 with Paddy (or Boyles if they announce a bigger price)

A striker I like and I think Bray will be better this year. DOuble figures could see him in the top four

O Donovan is good value there if he can keep his end of season form going.

Ladbrokes should be ashamed betting this to nearly 300%.

Gary Beckett 2nd favourite?!? He scored 3 goals last season I think.

This is hilarious! Our top scorer last year (Sammon) is the same odds as a Glenavon player (Quinn) and less than Moran (who's only played twice for us) and Podge (who's out injured until July)!

If there's that much crap, surely there's some value somewhere?

Given the chances of a UCD player being top scorer this season (or any premier division season), the odds are fairly irrelevent. Quinn is funny though, I hadn't spotted that.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

Wonder will they take odds on UCD's top scorer on the above basis?
