I would also agree Burns is vital, moreso now that the Turner fellow went to Oldham on loan instead of Bohs. Saying that, it wouldn't surprise me if Bohs got another centre back from somewhere, depending on the Burns injury.
Whatever about the others but if you think Liam Burns is not really vital to Bohs then yer talking through yer arse.
As for Bohs season, I can see them starting off well and then midway through the season Sean Connor will start pimping himself for a job in the UK or somewhere and he'll lose interest in them and they'll drop down and finish 4th at best.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Burns looked really good untill the injury. In other news Mad Tom was there. I met him in Dalymount lane at about twenty past six. No idea what he was saying.

How much of Aberdeens first team played? or was it Bohs drawing 0-0 with an SPL reserve team? and sure Drogheda apperantly deserved to beat Zenith St. Petersburg the other week, who are 3rd in the Russian Premier. The Russian premier is a much higher standard than the SPL

The point is Aberdeen are bang in the middle of their season. This was like another league fixture for them as they played last week and will play next week. They reason they were over was because they got knocked out of the SFA cup.

Typical Cork, always going over the top. I was there the other night and Bohs looked fairly average to me. Crowe and Fenn did nothing to help the midfield with their lack of runs. Bohs were chasing shadows for most of the first half and when Aberdeen took their foot off the pedal then Bohs got into it a little more, only through a good corner by Dessie Byrne and a clearly offside goal from Fenn.
Burns and the goalkeeper Myrphy were the only one's to impress on an otherwise average enough team. Bohs seemed a little better than last season but I'm confident that we can take three points from them in a couple of weeks.
With McGuinness still in the defence then they are always liabel to concede goals.

Well, as I saw it, Murphy was class, Burns too until the injury, Hunt was looking more like his old self, Owen Heary looked a class apart, Thomas Heary was solid if not spectacular, Des Byrne played well despite deserving to get sent off, Kingsbury when he came on looked good if lightweigth.
The front too looked sluggish, and even my promise to buy Glen a Kebab if he scored didn't rouse him. Fenn wasn't match fit anyway so we'll have a better idea on Friday week. I'm confident enough we can get three points out of those Louth upstarts!
Sean Connor looked bizarre in "THAT" tracksuit though.

Typical drog, being too narrow minded to see Bohs' quality. Aberdeen played a few passes around their own half but never really threatened.
Connor looked like Santa Clause. The new Bohs jersey looks good but if that tracksuit is an example of the merchandise available, you shouldn't expect to sell much of it.

Seeing as Derry will be the team to beat this season its admirable that their fans aren't jumping on the 'we're great' bandwagon already![]()
False hope is worse than no hope. Ask Sligo.
Did Mark Rossitter play? Has he featured in any of Bohs friendlies so far?
