I suppose in hindsight Keely is an obvious choice to ride in on his white horse to save Shels...

Yeh, it was in the Sun during the week, and he felt it was the right decision to demote. In the same article he did a Roddy by saying he only has feelings for two clubs (i) Home Farm and (ii) Shelbourne. That was a clear come and get me plea.

I couldn't care less how we play football now during this mess. I'll be just happy to see Shels play at this stage.

I think he said he didn't want anything to do with full-time clubs and would leave his options open for a part-time club.

Not the couple of times I seen them play.

Great move by Shels though. Hugely experienced. Has worked with tony budgets before. Outstanding record at practically every club he's been.

Plonked a fiver on at the same odds back in December, just collected. Stupid odds, easy money.
