    Alan Hunter on Gerry Ryan

Irish Football Supporters Association supremo Alan Hunter has managed to get himself on the radio AGAIN. RTE shame on you. And he has been on BBC Radio already today.

He is supposed to be a representative of Irish football supporters. Don't shoot the messenger.

This guy is really starting to get on my nerves. Who the hell is he? Seriously, I have never seen him at a home or away game EVER and all the people I know have said the same and we have probably covered ever ireland game home and away for the past 16 years between us.

Has any ever seen this guy at a game.

Also I just googled "Irish Football Supporters Association" and found nothing. Does this association actually exist?

Its a loosely run organisation as does not hold meetings or elect officials.

If i rang up RTE and said i was the Vice President , no wait , Junior Vice President of the Footballer Supporters of Ireland Association , I fully expect them to put me straight through to Joe , if not a Late Late slow.

RTE know that this clown speaks for nobody but himself. They and he are making a mockery of sport in general. I have never met anyone at any Ireland matches who knows this guy. Next stop is Prime time. "And here we have Alan Hunter a bar stool pundit on whatever your having yourself"!

Seems like the Irish Soccer Supporters Club doesn't like him either:

    They arent the only ones...

On the way into the stadium, an elderly San Marino Steward waved us in and said "Tonight, may the best team win"

    And they nearly did.

Will do. One last thing though. He has been on prime time, many times in fact. He was the chief spokesman for irish football fans during the Saipan saga. He addressed the public via RTE from his Dublin home. Bit strange that he wasnt out in Japan given that he is such a big fan of the team.
