Get your diary out - here are the KCFC fixtures for '07. From official site.

The FAI Eircom League of Ireland last night published the fixture list for the coming season.

The list is far from kind to Kildare County and their fans. For the SIXTH time in a row County are away for the final game of the season. (ie The Thoroughbreds have never finished a season in front of their home fans)

Each team plays three midweek fixtures - two at home and one away or vice versa - County play two away. Thats the luck of the draw but - against FINN HARPS and COBH RAMBLERS.A little unfair dont you think.

Could get off to a great start. Getting Shels and Limerick 37 at a great time and the the matches against Cobh and Monaghan will be real interesting. Cobh have lost alot of goosd players and Monaghan have had an excellent preseason 12 points from 16 a good possibility.

But whats the story with playing Cobh and Finn Harps mid week?, surely it would have made sense to arrange midweek games with opposition closer to home eg- Shels, Athlone.

I'm not blaming the club by the way, I know it was the FAI who arranged them.

What bugs me is we have never finished a season at home in our six seasons in the league. Pathetic.

Thats an amazing stat. Was gonna say that it must be a record for the league but with the FAI taking over I suppose its a new league.
