Freedom of the press is a fundamental. However, with that comes responsibility. It really is karma at work to see McCaffery locked up after the lies he's wrote regarding this league, and it's just funny to see the editor of the Herald on six1 defending their right to publish "the truth".

The original article was much worse and really pushed the line that the Rovers ultras were neo-nazis

Found this one as well, not by McCaffrey, but also from the Herald. It obviously escaped his attention that the fist is a socialist/communist symbol and as for Nazi SS emblems, has anyone ever seen them at Rovers games? Doubt it.

I know he did...but does no one else find it objectionaable that McDowell can break the same law and get away with it (or did the legislation come in after McD leaked stuff to Sam Smyth)

Don't know about porridge in the 6 counties but down here if they were sharing a cell, there'd be anything up to 6 other lads in there with them - including at least one called Big Momma.
