Oh ya Kevin Doyle's parents own one of those pubs 'Ye Olde Coopers Inn', although the other one 'The Merry Elf' is probably the more popular with the locals.
Danby is very nice! My Mam was a manager there up to bout a year and a half ago. It's bout 15-20 mins from where the pitch is! Nice if your bringin the family as it's close to Rosslare as well as Wexford town. Village of Killinick has two decent pubs and I believe a nice restaurant opened there recently.

Was at a 21st in the Danby last weekend, it's nice alright!
Coopers is a mere five minutes walk from the Danby across the road but watch the traffic!
Or ya could nip up to my house for a cup of tea! Bout 5mins in the car. I'll tell me ma to expect visitors. She'd actually be more surprised to see me than a random stranger though, not home too often these days!
Thanks passinginterest! Mite just drop my boys off to be babysat!! :-D
Sounds great. Am booked from the Friday til the Monday so that we can go do a few things, and will defo head into Doyles bar for a pint of water! My boys would love that.
"Will defo head into Doyles bar for a pint of water!"
The pint's in Coopers aren't THAT bad.
Wont be drinkin if have kids with me and have to drive them around ur beautiful county tho! Anyway I dont drink pints.....not ladylike enough for me!
Water it is then, or a mineral!
Oh and it is a beautiful county and flattery will get you everywhere.
Enjoy the trip!
Have written the book on flattery darling!
Had some great times in Wexford, Kilmore, Kilmore Quay, Rosslare, even Courtown!
Am looking forward to bringin the kids down there coz we have had no reason to go there for years, football is the only reason we go anywhere so we are restricted to the places where the eL is alive and kicking!
Some of Kevin's jerseys and a couple of photos are on the walls of Cooper's Inn.
So how many of you are making the long journey north?? Its only 5 sleeps away!
Am soooooooo excited!
I'll be making the trip, provided I can get away from work a little early. Can you give me directions to the ground, i'll be coming from dublin!
Its quite easy to get to. Come into Monaghan Town, go straight through first small set of traffic lights (pedestrian crossing really) and you will come to a big junction with traffic lights. Again go straight through them following signs for Clones. Dunnes Stores will be on your right. You will then come to a roundabout and you take the first proper exit (first exit is into a carpark) and continue out this road for Clones. Swimming Pool on will be on your left. You stay on the road to the left at the Y junction and continue out this road passed a sign for eircom and then take the next road to the left. There is an NCT test centre and a Tyre place on your left when you turn in this road and then Kingspan Century Park is the next building. There is parking at the front of the building.
Look forward to seeing you there! Look out for a stressed woman probably doing the PA system and come say hello!
Thanks for the directions Magicme. Will come in handy in the increasingly unlikely event that I make the trip
awwww....you got to come up! If you have to hand in your resignation & sell your house, you have to go to your clubs first ever game in the league!
No excuses people!
